This part shows how Misty’s focus is shifting—she’s not just training anymore, she’s thinking about her people and going home. And now they’re finally trying to make a deal to set things right.
Hi Jonathan, and welcome! Thanks so much for a great comment. You're spot on! By now Misty is moving toward a more mature mindset and thinking beyond her own survival toward a meaningful future. Going home after a decade with Luke and Logan is a huge step in that direction. The next part will be all about her exploring what this means and hopefully finding her place in the universe. Its turning out to be quite a big project and I'm still working on putting it all together, but someday (hopefully) soon you'll start receiving scenes as they're written. If you liked this scene, while you're waiting for more you might like to catch up with what's happened so far. Hop on over to the INDEX or start with Chapter one Scene one and dive in at the beginning for a delightful binge. I promise you won't be disappointed. Congratulations Jenny for the new addition to your family. You are a writer with a wild and wonderful imagination.... It won't be long before the burning of embers will ignite another spark and you just won't be able to stop yourself.
A Bittersweet day Jenny... Great clothes, but now it's over. I loved your story, Your Enthusiasm, your commitment to see it through, and your courage to work through all the things that slowed you down along the way. Very nicely done!
Thankyou dear Dave! My first and most avid supporter. I will forever be grateful for you. Don’t worry— I’m not going away forever. Just need to work through the box of old and cold forgotten embers. I’ll be back with the next part. I just can’t promise when.
So fantastic to hear of the happy, healthy mother and wee child! Long life and prosperity to the whole family! I will remain most gratefully, hopefully subscribed as long as your stack remains on...you will get the itch one of these days I'm betting.

Thanks dear Frank. I’ll be glad to have you for as long as you’re willing. And yes… that itch will not be denied.
😉
Thank you for the shoutout.
