Such detailed descriptions, you really bring color and emotion to the mind pictures you paint for us. Keep up the good work and thanks for this peak into Victor's world.
This is out of left field interesting Jenny! Victor comes across as very controlled and controlling, yet there is a parallel narrative that tells us he could be pushed across a violent threshold with the slightest touch of the wrong (or right) kind. Is he controlling Rose or is Rose controlling him, is the question that comes to my mind. Thanks for this last little gift before the clock ticks over!
Oooh! You have no idea, Frank! We have a whole new world of possibilities opening up if we delve into Victor's younger days. In Bottled Embers he's the bad guy but here, he's still young and impressionable. I know I haven't given you much, very few hints at the setting, very few hints at context, but since you already know a bit about a more mature Victor Morgan it's hard not to speculate. Enjoy! I should be back to my normal BE by the end of the week.
Yippee, you know what I like!!! And Rose, as a non-verbal but living character presence who is Victor's primary focus, is very mysterious and intriguing to say the least...
Awwww. Cute. I love the way you described the sketching process. I don't think I'd get it so well defined. My sketching days are long behind me. In fact, the only painting that I ever did, that i kept, was a snow covered windmill.
Thanks JW. Defined was exactly what I was going for. It's been many years since I last had time, but I remember the feeling well. Also, the only painting I do these days is with my 6-year-old...
