A short list: there's Freja, our Jack Russel, three house cats of my own, and a host of wild ones who keep our barn free of rats, then there's a lovely little meerkat and the duiker that we rescued. Plus a pack of Belgian Malinois, guard dogs and countless cattle and sheep. A horse, Saartjie... Uhm... not so short I suppose.

As for pets, dogs are wonderful. But being a farmers' wife, I have a mixed lot of lovely animals around my home. And while cats are more my style, my doggo is the sweetest little bundle of fun I've ever met. 🥰
